Education Jobs Event - Be a Missouri Teacher

The American Board, a non-profit dedicated to recruiting and certifying community-based teachers in South Carolina, will host a public event on how local residents can become certified South Carolina teachers.

Attendees will learn what to expect in a career as a teacher and receive advisement on a personalized path to certification.

South Carolina Teacher Certification Specialist Katelyn Price will lead the event. Sessions begin Wednesday, August 8 at 10:30 am and 12 pm at the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce, 225 S. Limestone St. Evening sessions will begin at 4:30 pm, 6 pm and 7 pm at the Hampton Inn Gaffney‎ Hotel, 115 Nancy Creek Road. The event is free and open to the public.
