Dr. Bobby G. Moss Revolutionary War Symposium Join us for an afternoon of the latest scholarship on the Battle of Kings Mountain, fellowship and and an exchange of views. Featuring SCAR Fellow, author and historian William T. Graves' new research on the Americans and their units at the Battle of Kings Mountain; SCAR Fellow, author and historian Jim Piecuch's latest research on Kings Mountain; author and reenactor Ricky Roberts will discuss the British commander, Maj. Patrick Ferguson and will demonstrate the game-changing Ferguson breech loading rifle; and a special recognition of South Carolina's senior historian, Dr. Bobby Gilmer Moss. SCAR publisher, Charles B. Baxley will host the presentations. |
